Kjell Orrling
Professional painter
Kjell Orrling has been a full-time painter since 1988.
Kjell, having immigrated from Sweden to Canada in 1973, is a renowned artist and elected member at The Royal Canadian Academy of the Arts, C.S.P.W.C., O.S.A., S.C.A. and Colour and Form Society.
His works have been recognized at juried shows, including Juror's Choice Award at C.O.A.A. three times, Best Watercolour at Patrons of Wisdom in North York, Best in Show at Toronto Watercolour Society, Award of Merit at O.S.A., and Juror's Choice/People's Choice Awards and Honourable Mention twice at VAB, to name a few. The list is quite extensive and includes five solo shows in Ontario and two in Sweden.
He has had articles published in American Artist (Fall 93 Watercolour Issue), Mississauga News, Toronto Star and Art Focus and, has attended workshops by many renowned artists.
