Bob Posliff
Watercolourist,
Bachelor of Architecture
In Bob’s other life, he administered his flourishing architectural practice in the City of Brampton for several years and among many other projects, he oversaw the successful completion of Brampton City Hall.
Presently, he is devoted to watercolour painting and has attended more than twenty workshops and courses focusing on a variety of subjects and techniques. His work has been included in numerous exhibitions and selected for several juried shows in Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto resulting in an Award and a Certificate of Recognition. His work is included in private collections both here and in the U.S.
In addition to being on the Board of Directors of Beaux-Arts Brampton(an artist’s cooperative), he maintains membership in Visual Arts Brampton (participating in an ongoing portrait painting workshop) and Visual Arts Ontario. Recently, he completed a course in art history at The Toronto School of Art.
Bob was born in Stratford, Ontario in 1939 and received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto in 1965.
