Visual Arts Brampton is expanding Laughlines to two spaces this
year. The 2011 show will run on the normal schedule at Artway
Gallery, from 26 March to 29 April 2011, it will also run at Artway
Invitational Gallery from mid-April to mid-May.

months, through his acclaimed lens. Steve Nease's Pud,
the local family classic returns for its 13th year.

Peter Emslie, a Disney-rooted illustrator teaching
character design at Sheridan College, known for his Cartoon
Cave punditry, will exhibit some new caricatures.

Jim Caswell, a long resident of Brampton, has worked
in the animation industry for over 25 years. He is currently
developing animated projects. The show will preview samples
of his current creator owned project: MonsterMashupTv.

Dates of previous Laughlines exhibits
Every year since 1998, Laughlines has featured Steve Nease's
editorial cartoons from the past 12 months, as well as a year's
worth of Pud, his popular family comic strip. Others are
featured each year, a host of cartoon voices.
Past years have featured storybook illustrator and caricaturist
Peter Emslie and Star editorial
cartoonist Patrick Corrigan.

to Artway. Steve Nease's Pud character appeared, along with
Millie the Art Bug. A colouring table was available.

exhibit of cartoon artwork that tickles visitor funnybones.
Shown are: Steve Nease will exhibit a year's worth of

year in a row; Tony Jenkins, editorial cartoonist and
illustrator for The Globe and Mail exhibited his musician
caricatures; Peter Emslie, an illustrator who has worked
for Disney, and teaches character design at Sheridan College,
will exhibit some new caricatures. Also on display were Ian
Eubanas and Stephanie Czolij. Visit Artway on April 4 from 10
am to 5 pm; Pud appeared at the event throughout the day, and
visitors to the mall created cartoons for display at Fridge
Front Gallery.
