This four-session workshop builds on the first fundamentals course to develop your watercolour skills and confidence. You will be doing a lot of exercises and painting various subjects throughout the sessions and for homework. You will also have a lot of fun as you expand your skills and methods.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned watercolour artist who wants a review and to loosen up your painting style, this four-session workshop is for you.
Each of these four workshop sessions builds on the one before it and stretches your comfort zone a bit further. Your confidence will grow. Your colours will dance and your paintings will burst with light and expression.

About the Instructor
Through my artwork I attempt to explore light on the Canadian Landscape. There is a certain temperature to the light up here, a crispness that is uniquely Canadian. It speaks to me in a harmony of colours. Delicate but savage. Rich but not overwhelming - elegant. I hope it comes through in my work.
Zan is the recipient of the 2010 Forest Award and the 2009 Lodge Award for plein air painting in Ontario. Zan is the founder and past president of Ontario Plein Air Society, a group of Ontario painters dedicated to painting the Canadian landscape from life.
A list of required supplies and tools will be emailed to each participant.
