Fridge Front Gallery is the Greater
Toronto Area's only permanent display space devoted to showing
children's art 365 days a year.
Fridge Front exhibits show artwork from
public schools, private schools, community groups, and VAB's own kids
art classes.
Exhibits are in the well used northwest
entrance cooridor to Shoppers World, right across from Artway, our
adult exhibit space.

of three exhibits dedicated to life as a girl, organized by Growing
Up XX and Peel Community Connections, with the participation of the
Boys and Girls Club of Peel. The other two exhibits run simultaneously
are in a Streetsville Gallery and the Meadowvale Theatre, both within
Mississauga. VAB students also on display.
- May 1 to 26, 2005 Brampton-Caledon Community Living (group info) BCCL supports people with a developmental disability,
in partnership
with their families and the community, to lead enriched and meaningful
lives. The exhibit is their photography.
- May 16 to June
19, 2005 The Mayfield Connection to VAB (school info) An exhibit of historic buildings
drawn in pen & ink, as well as
works by former VAB students who were or are Mayfield students. The
show is curated by Mayfield student Sarah Frid, a VAB alumni. Scheduled
to display are (expected) Peter Clinton, Jennifer Cuthbert, Yang Ding,
Sarah Frid, Martina Gorski, Stephanie Hagendorn, Emily Kowalik, Candice
McCracken, Jessica Routers, Anitra Steinberg, Paulina Su. Was
originally titled Mayfield Presents, then Young Talent: The
Mayfield Connection.
