Fridge
Front Gallery
Fridge Front Gallery at Shoppers World Brampton mall is dedicated
to youth art. Open to exhibits from Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon, and
area, exhibits can come from schools (public, Catholic, or private), groups,
and clubs. As the name suggests, the space is literally a series of vintage
fridge doors, mounted to the wall. Securely locked behind glass, it provides
a quirky backdrop to the artwork.
While there may be other exhibit spaces where youth art is shown, since
our launch in April 2005, Fridge Front has remained that only permanent
youth-only art exhibit space in the GTA.
The entire space is dedicated to your school's work, not shared like at
other displays.
Its totally free to exhibit at Fridge Front, so
schedule an exhibit today.

Exhibit at Fridge Front Gallery
Heres what you need to know about exhibiting at the Fridge Front
Gallery.
ITS TOTALLY FREE TO EXHIBIT
Its totally free to exhibit at Fridge Front. We provide you
with a two-week or longer time slot, with use of the magnets and sticky
tack needed to put up the display, and we can create a sign with your
school name or logo, if you need one. |
OFTEN, MEDIA EXPOSURE FOR YOUR SCHOOL
While we certainly cant guarantee media coverage, we do our
best to get your name in the your local press. We've had Fridge Front
exhibits written up in The Brampton Guardian, Caledon Citizen,
on Rogers Brampton/Mississauga, and Rogers DufferinCaledon.
Every exhibit is listed in the Toronto Star Galleries listing. |
ONLY DISPLAY SPACE OF ITS KIND
So far as we know, Fridge Front is the only publicly accessible exhibit
space in the GTA, solely for youth. Three other locations exhibit
youth artwork; one exhibits their art only once a year, the other
displays the artwork whenever they can't rent the space to adult artists,
a third is only a temporary space-filler. |
