Jacqueline Veltri graduated from the Ontario College of Art in 1992, and has worked as a freelance artist since, focusing primarily of portraiture. Her preferred mediums are oil and graphite.

Her artwork "Ergy in Play" was selected for Explore This! 7 2011, an online show by the Colored Pencil Society of America. Solo exhibits include Artway Invitational Gallery in March 2011 and Artway Gallery in January 2012.

Riopka has illlustrated a manual for the Ontario Ministry of Education, created logos for businesses, and a series of brochures for a local Brampton literacy centre.

Joining Visual Arts Brampton in 2008, she became a board member in 2009 and vice-president in April 2010.

She teaches the painting open studios at Visual Arts Brampton, Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
