This workshop series provides students applying to prospective art high schools (Mayfield Secondary School, Cawthra Park Secondary School, St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School) or post-secondary (York University, OCAD, Sheridan College) art programs a chance to present their portfolio to a qualified teacher in the field that has interviewed and been accepted to art programs at both the high school and post-secondary level. The instructor will provide insight on how to ensure your portfolio is polished and professional. Students will learn about artist statements and how to talk about their work. At the end of the session, students will have the opportunity to practice sample interview questions.
While not required, students are encouraged to participate in the Portfolio Preparation Workshop.
This workshop will run again in winter 2019. Please check back for further information.
