Still Life sessions will resume on Friday November 3, 2017. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Painting and drawing still life arrangements is one of the core classical atelier activities. Along with portrait and life model sessions, still life builds your observation skills more than any other activity you can undertake. Visual Arts Brampton is the only art group in the GTA offering weekly drop-in still life sessions.
Come join us in our weekly still life open sessions. Enjoy the comradery of your fellow artists and focus on building your skills. Each session will have a different still life arrangement with emphasis on colour value and shapes. All dry and wet media (except oils) are welcome.
Weekly Session Time: Friday 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Price: $7 per session, $5 with a membership
Skill Level: Artists of all skill levels are welcome

About the Session Monitor
A classically trained artist, Zan is the recipient of several awards for plein air painting in Ontario. He is the founder and past president of Ontario Plein Air Society, a group of Ontario painters dedicated to painting the Canadian landscape from life.
I paint because I fall in love with a moment. Sometimes I capture it successfully, and other times, too many times, I fail. I am proud to say that my artwork has seeped into private collections from Australia through Europe to North America. I cherish all my collectors and value their choice to own my artwork. In a way, a work of art is not whole.
Drawing horses and boards are available at the studio. We recommend you come equipped with the medium of your choice (pencil, charcoal, conte, ink, paints etc. No solvent based oil paints, please).
