Snail
Mail Show awards
Included are Artist's
name/medium/"Title"/(Residence), and on the next line is the
juror's name and comments.
While most juried
art shows have a Juror's Award, first place, second place, and third
place, with honourable mentions and a People's Choice Award, The Snail
Mail Show has a Juror's Award, Media Award, People's Choice Award, Honourable
Mentions, and multiple theme- and medium-specific awards. These special
awards are meant to be equal to, and not greater or lesser than in status
to an honourable mention.

Tina
Depko, Arts editor, Brampton Guardian
"There is a warm, domestic feel in this piece.
This young artist takes great care to include detail from
the stripes on the orange kittens to the multicolour patches
on the mother cat. Does a work have to look like a Monet, Michaelangelo
or Carr to make us like it? I think the best art evokes a feeling
and this piece definitely does."
