Visual Arts Brampton
Tribute to Dick Gibson

Cartoons on display

Visual Arts Brampton (VAB) will present a tribute to former Brampton Guardian editorial cartoonist Dick Gibson, who died last Thursday after a long battle with heart disease.

The show, which runs from Dec. 1 to 9 at the Artway Gallery, will feature a collection of his work, which also appeared for 27 years in the Toronto Sun.

The Artway Gallery is located on the main floor of the Bramalea City Centre, between Sportchek and A&W.

The gallery is open during regular mall hours, which in December are Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On Dec. 10, the VAB will open their annual Christmas show, Playthings.
