Branch 609 of the Royal Canadian Legion recently held its annual Poster and Literacy Contest. There were nearly 60 entries in this year's contest and if they win at the zone competition, participants will have the opportunity to win a Canada-wide competition and be displayed at next year's Remembrance Day ceremonies in Ottawa.
The local winners and their categories were, from
