What are the requirements?

• It must be very close to 4 x 6 inches, which is the size of an average postcard or a photograph. If it’s close, we’ll still exhibit it, but if it’s too small or large, sorry. (That said, we've received poster-sized entries.)
• Please, be tasteful with the images in your entry. We judge through a case-by-case basis, of what we’ll exhibit. Just remember, we’re in an entry corridor of a shopping mall. Hate images, sexual imagery, and certain religious images aren’t okay.

If I send in something that isn't 4x6 or an ATC, will you exhibit it? Maybe. If the size is close to either of these dimensions, we will, but if its not close, it'll just go in our files permanently.

Is there anything I can't have in my image? Hate images, sexual imagery, and overly religious images aren't allowed. We judge on a case-by-case basis, what's okay, what's not. We are in the entry corridor of a shopping mall, and we get the space for free, so we do have to be somewhat careful. That said, we've actually had anarchist logos, guns, and abstract nudes on display, with no complaint.

Do we get documentation of the show? Like many mail art shows do offer documentation, we don't. Simply, WAG's organizers are too busy running all of the local programming Visual Arts Brampton offers, as that's what our main focus is, the community-oriented stuff. We're sorry that this makes this highly impersonal, but that's the only way we can operate WAG currently. We're hoping to eventually have a blog dedicated to WAG, offering up scans of the art as it comes in, provided we can find a steady supply of volunteers.
