Call for "Fin, Fur & Feather"

Call for Submissions - Fin, Fur & Feather

Artway Gallery is accepting submissions for our Fin, Fur & Feather exhibit. Artwork that features and kind of animal (fish, mammals or birds) will be accepted.

Requirements: Maximum artwork dimensions are 3' H x 5' W x 3" D. Artwork must be ready to hang, frames are not required. Sculptures will be accepted provided they do not exceed the maximum artwork dimensions, and can be displayed safely. Artwork must not contain any offensive or controversial subject matter.

Please bring a completed submission form and your work to the Visual Arts Brampton studio no later than September 28, 2018. The exhibit will run from September 29, 2018 to January 4, 2019.

Member Artwork at the Ontario Legislative Assembly

Member Artwork at the Ontario Legislative Assembly

Artwork from seven Visual Arts Brampton members is now showing at the Ontario Legislative Assembly In-Camera dining room as part of the inagural "Art in Camera" exhibit. Congratulations to members Sherry Park, Biola Idowu, E.C. Munson, Helen Duplassie, Maureen McLellan, Mary Chorniuk and Stephanie Czolij for having their work selected.
 
The overall exhibit features works from 46 artists across Ontario and includes landcapes, portraits, realism, abstract, photograpy and paintings. The In-Camera dining room will reopen to the public on September 10, 2018.

Call for "Works in Colour"

Works in Colour

Visual Arts Brampton is accepting submissions for our Works in Colour exhibit at Artway Gallery. Artwork bursting with colour in any medium will be accepted.

Requirements: Maximum artwork dimensions are 3' H x 5' W x 3" D. Artwork must be ready to hang, frames are not required. Sculptures will be accepted provided they do not exceed the maximum artwork dimensions, and can be displayed safely. Artwork must not contain any offensive or controversial subject matter.

CeleBrampton - Thank You

Visual Arts Brampton would like to thank all of the wonderful community members who joined us in painting the giant Muskoka chair in Garden Square during CeleBrampton this past Saturday! It was a pleasure meeting each and every one of you and we hope to see you around our studio in the future!

We would also like to thank Garden Square for partnering with us and providing us with this opportunity. 

Last, but certainly not least, we would like to extend a big THANK YOU to our VAB volunteers who made this event possible.  Your hard work was very appreciated and helped us create a community masterpiece that will live on in Garden Square!

Thank you to our event volunteers Emma, Robert, Yasmine, Matt, Stephanie, Nick, Jacquie, Paul, Cameron and Paulina.

And thank you to Stephanie who designed the chair and our team who prepared the chair for the community: Stephanie, Concetta, Emma, Nick, Paul, Chris, and Stephanie R.
