Do you find yourself becoming frustrated with a painting but not entirely sure where something went "wrong"? Do you wonder what separates good art from the rest, and want to create the good kind yourself?
Students will explore some basic concepts and elements of art-making, using a variety of techniques and mediums. Students will practice applying what they've learned in each lesson to create a small artwork every week. This workshop is designed with adult beginners in mind, as well as more practiced artists who may need a refresher on some basic elements of artmaking. Each class will comprise a detailed presentation of the topic at hand and a hands-on exercise using the associated technique and medium(s) – including pencil and pen drawing, and mixed media and/or acrylic painting.

About the Instructor
I have been making art for as long as I have been able to hold a pencil and I love to work with different mediums. Artmaking is pure happiness and I want my students to nurture their own creative voice and find their own brand of joy. I offer art workshops for budding and practiced artists of all ages and abilities at my home studio and other locations. My workshops are available both in English and French. You can find me at Art Just for Me.
