This four-part, project-based workshop is a fun introduction to painting with acrylics.
Acrylics are incredibly versatile and rewarding, and can be used in myriad ways to create different styles of artwork. In this introductory workshop, students will create a new artwork each week using easy-to-master, creatively challenging acrylic painting techniques.
This workshop is limited to a maximum of eight participants to ensure adequate individual attention.

Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm or 6:00pm - 9:00pm Evening Class Full
Price: $150 for non-members, $135 with a membership

What Students will Learn
- How to use acrylic paints in a variety of ways, including with gels, mediums and other materials.
- How to make use of essential acrylic painting techniques, such as underpainting and colour blocking, layering and glazing, blending and texturing to create unique, personalized work.
- How to create artwork on different supports, such as canvas, board and paper.
About the Instructor
I have been making art for as long as I have been able to hold a pencil and I love to work with different mediums. Artmaking is pure happiness and I want my students to nurture their own creative voice and find their own brand of joy. I offer art workshops for budding and practiced artists of all ages and abilities at my home studio and other locations. My workshops are available both in English and French. A supply list will be provided upon registration. Some materials will be provided in-studio and are included in the registration cost.
