This workshop is designed to expand and build on portrait drawing skills learnt in Introduction to Portrait Drawing - Pencil Basics into the realm of working with colour. The six-week workshop will allow students to learn how to blend and shade coloured pencil and how to draw the various parts of the face, as well as hair and clothing in coloured pencil, and finish with the completion of multiple small scale fully coloured portraits. Familiarity and comfort drawing a portrait is required, but a variety of skill levels are welcome.

About the Instructor
Currently studying at OCAD University to complete her bachelors in design, Natasha is a graduate of Mayfield Secondary School’s regional visual arts program, and recipient of Ontario Scholar. In her spare time, she creates high realism artwork in multi-media and hopes to pursue a career as a Graphic Designer in the future.
We ask that students bring a simple sketchbook, one H or 2H pencil, an eraser, and a basic colour and skin tone colour pencil crayon set (Recommended: Prismacolor Premier or Scholar). All other materials will be provided.
