
Explore the freedom and creativity of Mixed Media techniques in this fun and innovative workshop. Whether you’re new to mixed media or looking for ways to enhance your artwork, this is a multifaceted (yet very accessible) introduction to some of the techniques used in this type of artmaking.
In this workshop, students will discover how to use techniques such as collaging, gel-plate printmaking, transfers and texturing, and how to use different materials such as acrylic mediums, stencils, pens, paper and images to create original, expressive artwork.

What Students will Learn
- Students will explore some basic techniques in Mixed Media, using a variety of mediums and materials. These will include collaging, gel-plate printmaking, transfers and texturing, and a variety of tools.
- Each class will have a detailed demonstration of the technique to be used in the lesson.
- Students will create a different artwork every week using the lesson's technique and materials provided.
About the Instructor
Rima Koleilat
Rima has been making art for as long as she has been able to hold a pencil and she loves to work with different mediums. Artmaking is pure happiness and Rima wants her students to nurture their own creative voice and find their own brand of joy. Rima offers art workshops for budding and practiced artists of all ages and abilities at her home studio and other locations. Rima's workshops are available both in English and French.
