In this four-week workshop, students will have fun learning how to create papier-mâché figures in a fantasy or fiction style. If you like to work with your hands, this is an easy step into the world of sculpting. Get loose by creating almost anything you can imagine. Complete your piece with fabric, mixed media or stylized papers. You will love your personal results!

What Students will Learn
- How to build an armature and prepare your shape
- How to apply papier-mâché to the figurine and setting
- How to clothe the figure with fabric or stylized paper
- How to hand varnish for final results
About the Instructor
Colleen Dee, B.F.A.
Graduating with a Fine Arts Degree (BFA) from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec where she specialized in sculpting and printmaking. Over the years she continued to work in many mediums including work as a graphic designer. Currently pursuing her passion in the arts industry as a teacher and mentor.
