Bring your art journal or mixed media project to our newest drop-in session, and enjoy creating mixed media art or art journal pages in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Work on your own projects at your own pace or get inspired to start a new design. Interact with other artists, share ideas and insights, get feedback and find new inspiration. Weekly prompts, themes and different techniques will be proposed to spark and encourage creativity, although participation in the weekly theme is not required.
Bring your own preferred art supplies and tools with you for your individual projects. Rima will bring images and a few other mixed media supplies to complement the weekly theme.
All skill levels are welcome, but please note that these drop-in sessions are not directed classes – some familiarity with the concepts of mixed media and art journaling will be helpful. However, Rima will be providing inspiration, guidance, tips and techniques to everyone who asks.
We want you to think of this session as a special time for yourself, to create and play, have fun and be inspired. Whatever you are working on, we will be there to encourage, support and stimulate your creative spirit.
Weekly Session Time: Tuesday 10:00am - 12:30pm
Price: $15 per session
Skill Level: Artists of all skill levels are welcome

About the Instructor
I have been making art for as long as I have been able to hold a pencil and I love to work with different mediums. Artmaking is pure happiness and I want my students to nurture their own creative voice and find their own brand of joy. I offer art workshops for budding and practiced artists of all ages and abilities at my home studio and other locations. My workshops are available both in English and French. You can find me at Art Just for Me.
Drawing horses, boards and tables are available at the studio. We recommend you come equipped with the art supplies and tools for your individual project. No solvent based oil paints, please.
