Is your child budding with enthuasism for creating arts and crafts? Let them embrace their creative side with year-long youth art classes at Visual Arts Brampton Creative Studios.

Throughout the year, the essential concepts of art are introduced to students, in understandable terms. They apply this newfound knowledge practically and creatively in various projects. Students are introduced to diverse mediums within the realms of drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, and crafts. Students engage their apt and burgeoning curiosities within these different worlds of creativity, injecting their own personal spark to the projects.

Classes are led by two talented instructors, both of whom connect excellently with the students. They are Michelle Alonzo and Priya Mistry, two former longtime students of Visual Arts Brampton's art classes. A student for seven year, Priya is one of only three winners of VAB's Platinum award, signifying five gold medallion wins.

26-year-old community art group Visual Arts Brampton has offered youth classes since 1997; this age bracket is in its sixth year.

Classes run Saturdays from January to mid-December, even civic holidays. In total, that's 49 weeks of the year for the extremely reasonable price of $300 for the entire year, which includes most materials.* Each class is 1½ hours long, enough time to ensure they can comfortably complete the projects, without draining them of their vim and vigour.
