Visual Arts Brampton is home to over 2000 square feet of studio space. This unique space is a perfect place for artists to gather and participate in one of the many art classes and sessions we offer. As you enter, a small gallery and reception area greets you. Here you will find rotating exhibits from members of our community, a waiting area, a selection of art materials available for purchase and a reception desk for registration information.

Studio Gallery and Reception Area

Two large creative spaces are dedicated to our art classes and studio sessions. These rooms can be transformed to host a variety of classes or sessions. Configurations include drawing horses and stools, easels, tables and chairs, and a raised dais with backdrop and spot lighting. Each room also includes a monitor, computer, camera and audio system for presentations and online/hybrid learning. Just off this space is a dedicated room for brush and tool cleanup, and a washroom.

Studio Classroom

Throughout the entire space, artists will find a plethora of resources and equipment to further their artistic practice. A large library of art and image resource books are available, along with a cabinet full of still life objects just waiting to be drawn. Equipment includes: computers with a variety of creative software, a mat cutter, printing press, light tables and more.

Conveniences include a small kitchen with a sink, fridge, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. Nearby locales are fast food restaurants, a grocery and dollar store. For additional convenience, we are located just across the street from Shoppers World mall and transit busses.

Our studio is accessible by wheelchair via the office building elevator, located to the left side of our street entrance.
