A fun introduction to the art of mosaics! Artist MaryLou Hurley will introduce you to design, use of tools, and the grouting process, while creating a unique pumpkin wall hanging. All materials included. No experience necessary!

Price: $95 non-members, $86 with a membership
Materials: Included (students may bring old china and costume jewellery to include in their mosaic)

About the Instructor
MaryLou Hurley
As both artist and instructor at TrueBlueLou Mosaic Studio in Caledon East, I have found the freedom to embrace a unique approach to creating mosaics. I practice the traditional technique of 'andamento', carefully placing rows of tesserae to establish visual flow, but as a contemporary artist, I relish breaking free from classical rules. The sheer joy of discovering new textures, colours, and possibilities of mixed media, fuels my passion for artistic expression.
My art can often be found in gallery settings in the Toronto area and regularly at the Headwaters Alton Mill Gallery, Alton, Ontario.
