Summer Camp

Join us for a fun-filled Art Adventure! Our Summer Art Camp is designed for kids aged 6-12, where they’ll dive into hands-on arts and crafts activities such as watercolour and acrylic painting, drawing, printmaking, and mixed media. Our experienced lead artist will guide each child in developing new artistic skills while making new friends. Whether they’re crafting a masterpiece or just enjoying the process, kids will leave with new skills, a portfolio of artwork, and lasting memories.

Camp size is limited to 12 participants to ensure proper individual attention.

Daily Schedule

The camp will be set up so that students will attend different art stations per day such as Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, and Paper crafting. Students will be seated in groups by age and start at the same Home station each day. They will rotate to all stations daily with their group to work on their different projects. Dividing the camp into age groups allow students to get to know other students their own age. Students are welcome to associate with all members of the class during groups times, break and lunch. Each day will start and end with an Artist Session. The morning Artist Session will be an explanation and demonstration of each of the days activities at each Art Station. The afternoon session will be an opportunity to draw or paint along with the artist. There will be a 15 minute break every morning and afternoon as well as a fun group game time before lunch and at the end of each day.

Lunch will be enjoyed in the park behind the classroom (weather permitting) followed by fun in the park!

The advantage of a full week camp is that it allows students to work on more complex and interesting art projects that take several sessions to complete. This allows students learn the importance of allowing pieces to dry or working in stages instead of finishing a project all at once. We encourage students to attend each day of camp as we cannot guarantee that there will be time to catch up or repeat certain activities.

What to Bring

Campers are asked to bring each day:

  • A nut-free lunch
  • Two nut-free snacks
  • Water bottle
  • Sunhat and sunscreen are a must
  • Please leave personal toys, books and electronic devices such as phones and tablets at home
  • If your child requires an EPI pen, please talk to us on the first day so we can make arrangements for storage of the pen.
