Dear Participants: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily suspended all of our in-person weekly drop-in studio sessions. Are you looking to connect with other artists? Try our Virtual Open Studio sessions on Zoom.
Visual Arts Brampton is the only area art group that offers year-round life drawing sessions. We provide artists the opportunity to draw from a life model who will strike dynamic poses. Models vary in age, gender, shape and size, giving artists new challenges and experience from week to week. We do not offer instruction during these sessions.
Each session begins with warm-up gestures followed by a number of moderate length poses. After a short break, we end the evening with a few longer poses.
Skill Level: Artists of all skill levels are welcome
There are no upcoming sessions to display.
What Students will Learn
Through experience, students will become accustomed to:
Drawing from a live figure
Capturing the basic form quickly and efficiently with gesture drawings
