Visual Arts Brampton
Our Portraits Sessions provide artists the opportunity to draw, sketch or paint from a model holding an extended pose. The models are both professional and amateur, and of various ages, genders and nationalities. Subjects are on a raised model platform with proper spotlighting to create depth. Artists are welcome to work in the medium of their choice.
There is a rotation of twenty minutes creative time and five minute breaks.
These sessions are perfect for artists looking to practice their drawing skills and are also ideal for students who want to add a portrait component to their portfolios for post-secondary visual arts/animation programs.
There is no formal instruction provided during these sessions.

What to Bring
We recommend participants come equipped with a paper pad and/or sketchbook and drawing material of your choice (pencil, charcoal, conte, ink, paints etc. No solvent based oil paints, please). Drawing horses and boards are provided.
A limited selection of art materials are available for purchase at the studio and in advance through our online store.
